Custom Milling

Whether you need fencing material or want to have a table-top slab made from the tree in your backyard, Allison Enterprises is the Central Valley’s best choice. We run an over/under circular head saw with a 48” throat capacity, which is used for squaring up larger logs and cutting natural edge slabs up to 4’ in diameter. We also use a Woodmizer bandsawmill for resaw work and milling smaller logs. Although we do commercial or construction jobs, much of our custom milling work has been on a smaller scale, like turning the old pecan tree from your grandparents’ house into lumber for a beautiful heirloom piece. We love to help you transform wood that would have otherwise ended up in a landfill into the perfect material for your special project!

Lumber/Slab Sales

In addition to custom milling, we also have materials available for purchase. We have beautifully figured Claro Walnut reclaimed from local orchards, mainly in 3-4” thick slabs, as well as pieces with burl or English Walnut graft, perfect for wood turning blanks!

We currently also have some dimensional lumber available in several other species, including sugar pine, red gum eucalyptus, sycamore, elm, and ash. Please contact us for current availability and pricing.
